The complete run of the AKC Gazette, from 1889 through present, is available to search and browse for free.
Each monthly issue of the Gazette from 1921 onward has been segmented (when relevant) into three parts:
(1)Main Body
(2)Event Results (conformation, obedience trials, tracking tests, field trials, and hunting tests) plus new titleholders through 1997; more recent event results are available on akc.org through the host kennel club’s page
(3)Secretary’s Page (reports actions being considered and taken by the AKC Board of Directors including applications and approvals for breed, obedience and tracking judges, registered handlers and registered kennel names; disciplinary actions; and pending breed standard, rule and regulation changes)
Note: In some cases, Event Results may contain main body content at the end. Secretary’s Pages may also be improperly segmented into the Main Body. Users seeking specific information may need to consult multiple segments of each issue.
Indexes to articles which appear in the Gazette are also available below for the years 1942-1959 and 1970-2006.
